After careful selection between more than 200 studios from the whole world MP-STUDIO was chosen for the finals of the first ever 3D Video Mapping Championship part of the Festival of Lights Berlin.

what we did_
We had the opportunity to project our concept on the famous Brandenburg Gate. On the first day of the festival the jury placed us on the 3th place for the category “New Dimensions”, which was a good step forward and already a great result from our first participation in a competition. However, there were 9 more days until the end of the Festival of Lights 2015 and the big price was still to be decided. After 9 days of anticipation the public voted the first champion for 3D mapping projection and it was MP-STUDIO.
The story we grabbed the imagination of the public with was about a brother and sister lost in time and space. They were trying to get back home and to do so they had to remember the most important places and emotions related to their home place. After exploration of their memories and feelings they managed to activate the time machine, which brought them back to Berlin.
